TokeHead is a social platform built for cannabis culture enthusiasts — a space to share content, go live, discover creators, and connect with a 21+ community that gets it. You can post videos, photos, and thoughts; join live streams; and send Sparks to support your favorite creators. Think of it as the home base for the canna community online.

Yes — TokeHead is strictly for users who are 21 or older in jurisdictions where adult-use cannabis is legal, and 18+ where medical use is permitted. Age verification is required during signup. Accounts found to belong to minors are permanently banned, and any associated activity is removed from the platform immediately.

Joining TokeHead is completely free. You can create an account, follow creators, post content, and watch live streams at no cost. Sparks (our gifting currency) can be purchased to support creators, and an optional TokeHead Creator subscription unlocks premium earning perks — but neither is required to enjoy the platform.

After signing up, head to your profile page and tap “Edit Profile.” You can upload a profile photo, write a bio, add your preferred strain types, and set a custom username. A complete profile helps other community members find and follow you, and it unlocks full access to features like live streaming and Sparks gifting.

You can post photos, short videos, strain reviews, smoke session clips, cooking content, commentary, and more — as long as it complies with our Community Guidelines. Content must not promote illegal sales, show minors, or involve fake engagement. Cannabis consumption content is welcome; anything promoting dangerous or illegal activity is not.

Sparks are TokeHead’s virtual gifting currency. You earn or purchase Sparks and then send them to creators during live streams or on posts as a way to show appreciation and support. When you send Sparks, the creator earns real money — making your gift a direct contribution to their livelihood on the platform.

Go to the Sparks page and tap “Buy Sparks.” Sparks are available in multiple bundle sizes and payment is processed securely. Once your purchase is confirmed, Sparks are immediately added to your balance and ready to gift. You can also earn Sparks for free through daily logins, surveys, and referrals.

While watching a live stream, tap the gift icon in the bottom bar to open the gift picker. Choose a gift (each has a Spark cost displayed), confirm the send, and the gift animation appears on the live stream for everyone to see. The creator is notified in real time and your username is shown with the gift — so you will get a shout-out!

Purchased Sparks do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing. Sparks earned through free methods (daily login, surveys, referrals) also do not expire under normal circumstances. However, Sparks in a permanently banned or deleted account are forfeited and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Sparks purchases are generally non-refundable once the Sparks have been added to your account. If you believe there was an error with your purchase — such as a duplicate charge or a technical issue — contact support@tokehead.com within 7 days and our team will review the case. Refunds are not issued for Sparks that have already been gifted to a creator.

If your account is suspended, your Sparks balance is frozen and cannot be spent or transferred during the suspension period. For temporary suspensions, your balance is restored if the suspension is lifted. For permanent bans, any remaining Sparks balance is forfeited. If you believe your suspension was in error, you can appeal via email.

Log in every day to build your streak and earn between 2 and 25 Sparks per day — the longer your consecutive streak, the higher the daily reward. Miss a day and your streak resets to Day 1, so consistency is key. You will see your current streak and next reward on your Earn page. Streaks are a great low-effort way to accumulate Sparks over time.

Available surveys appear on your Earn page and each pays 15 Sparks upon completion. Surveys are limited to 2 per week per account, so you can earn up to 30 free Sparks weekly this way. Surveys are short, typically 2–5 minutes, and cover topics relevant to cannabis culture and the community. Make sure to complete them fully — partial submissions do not reward Sparks.

Share your unique referral link (found on the Earn page) with friends. When someone signs up using your link and makes their first post on the platform, you receive 50 Sparks as a referral bonus. There is no cap on how many people you can refer, so active sharers can accumulate significant free Sparks over time. Your referral stats are tracked in real time on the Earn page.

Referral Sparks are awarded after your referred friend completes their first post — not just after signup. Make sure your friend used your specific referral link during registration and that they have actually published at least one piece of content. If the conditions have been met but Sparks have not arrived within 24 hours, email support@tokehead.com with your username and the referred user’s username.

You earn money when viewers send you Sparks via gifts on your posts or during your live streams. Each Spark has a real monetary value, and your creator balance accumulates as gifts come in. Once your balance reaches the minimum cashout threshold, you can request a payout. Check out the Creator Resources page for a full breakdown of how earnings work.

Standard creators keep 50% of the Spark value of every gift they receive. Members of the TokeHead Creator program keep 60%. The remaining percentage supports platform operations and infrastructure. Your rate is shown on your creator dashboard.

The minimum cashout threshold is 2,500 Sparks, which equals $25.00 USD. You can request a cashout any time your creator balance meets or exceeds this amount. There is no maximum — you can cashout your full balance whenever you choose. Cashouts are processed to your PayPal address on file in your account settings.

Most cashouts are processed within 3–5 business days. New accounts may undergo a brief manual review on their first cashout to confirm identity and payment details — this can take up to 7 business days. Once approved, funds are sent directly to your PayPal. Repeat cashouts from verified accounts are typically faster. You will receive an email confirmation when your payout is sent.

TokeHead Creator is TokeHead’s $9.99/month membership for creators. It includes 150 welcome Sparks, a 60% gift cut (vs. the standard 50%), priority access to new platform features, and a TokeHead Creator badge on your profile. Learn more →

Tap the “Go Live” button in the main navigation or on your profile. You will be prompted to set a title for your stream, choose a category, and confirm camera and microphone permissions. Once you tap “Start Streaming,” you are live. Your followers are notified automatically. Visit /live to get started, and check our Streaming Help page for technical setup guides.

You can stream from just about any modern smartphone — no special equipment required to get started. For better quality, a ring light, a phone tripod, and a wired earphone/mic combo make a noticeable difference. Desktop streaming via OBS or similar software is also supported. Lag is almost always caused by a slow or unstable internet connection. For the best experience, use Wi-Fi or ensure you have a strong 4G/5G signal — streaming requires at least 5 Mbps upload speed. Closing other apps and tabs, reducing stream resolution, and restarting your router can also help. If lag persists, see our Streaming Help troubleshooting guide for step-by-step fixes.

Yes — gifting during live streams is one of the primary ways creators earn on TokeHead. Viewers can send any gift from the gift picker while you are live, and the gift animation plays on-screen for the entire audience to see. High-value gifts trigger special full-screen animations. You will see each gift arrive in your stream chat, and the Sparks value is added to your creator balance in real time.

On the login page, tap “Forgot Password” and enter the email address associated with your account. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes — check your spam folder if it does not appear in your inbox. The link expires after 1 hour for security. If you no longer have access to your registered email, contact support@tokehead.com for account recovery options.

Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm your password and acknowledge that deletion is permanent. All your posts, followers, and creator balance are erased — this cannot be undone. Any unspent purchased Sparks in a deleted account are forfeited. If you would like to take a break without losing your data, consider deactivating your account instead (also in Settings).

Tap the three-dot menu on any post, comment, or profile and select “Report.” Choose the reason that best describes the issue — spam, harassment, underage content, illegal activity, etc. — and submit. Our moderation team reviews every report, typically within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, email support@tokehead.com directly with details and any screenshots.

Accounts are banned for violations including: posting illegal sales (selling cannabis or other controlled substances), showing or involving minors, fake engagement (buying followers or views), severe harassment or threats, and repeated violations of our Community Guidelines. Some violations result in an immediate permanent ban; others start with a warning or temporary suspension. See the Community Guidelines for the full policy.

If your account has been suspended and you believe it was in error, email support@tokehead.com with the subject line “Appeal: [your username].” Include your reasoning and any relevant context. Appeals are reviewed by a senior member of the trust and safety team within 5 business days. Note that appeals for permanent bans due to content involving minors or illegal sales are not eligible for reinstatement.
