Every gift sent on TokeHead follows the same path: a viewer spends Sparks, you earn a percentage of the real dollar value. Here’s how the money flows:
Standard creators keep 50% of every gift’s Spark value. TokeHead Creators keep 60% of every gift’s Spark value.
Your earnings accumulate in real time on your creator dashboard. There are no delays in seeing your balance grow — every gift is reflected immediately. The only step between your balance and your bank is hitting the cashout threshold.
Minimum cashout: 2,500 Sparks = $25.00 USD. No maximum — cash out your full balance whenever you’re ready.
- 1Add your PayPal email in Settings → Creator → Payout Email. This is where your payment will be sent.
- 2Reach 2,500 Sparks in your creator balance. You can track this in real time on your creator dashboard.
- 3Tap “Request Cashout” in your creator dashboard. Confirm the amount you want to cash out.
- 4Wait for processing. Standard payout: 3–5 business days. New accounts: up to 7 business days for first-time manual review.
- 5Receive confirmation. You’ll get an email when the payment is sent. Funds land in your PayPal typically within 1 business day of approval.
Once your account is verified through the first cashout, subsequent payouts are processed faster with no additional review required. Keep your PayPal email current in Settings to avoid payment delays.
TokeHead Creator is TokeHead’s $9.99/month membership for creators who want more from the platform.
- 150 welcome Sparks added to your account immediately
- Permanent 60% gift cut (standard creators earn 50%)
- Priority access to every new platform feature before launch
- TokeHead Creator badge displayed on your profile
- 60% gift revenue share — keep more of every gift you receive
At the standard 50% rate, a creator earning $100 in gifts takes home $50. A TokeHead Creator earning the same $100 takes home $60 — 20% more per dollar gifted. Over a year of active streaming, that difference compounds significantly.
Gifts are not random — they happen when viewers feel a genuine connection and want to express it. Understanding what drives gifting lets you create more of those moments intentionally.
- ★Personality over production. Viewers gift people, not cameras. Raw, genuine content with a strong personality consistently outperforms polished but distant creators.
- ★Acknowledge every gift live. Say the gifter’s name out loud, react with genuine gratitude, and make them feel seen. This creates a social reward loop that encourages more gifting from them and others watching.
- ★High-value gifts trigger animations. Let your audience know that big gifts set off special full-screen effects during your stream. This turns gifting into a public event — viewers compete to trigger the best animations.
- ★Thank gifters by name in future posts. A simple “shoutout to [name] for their generous gift last stream” post creates loyalty and signals to new viewers that gifting gets recognition.
- ★Set milestones. Tell viewers what you will do at 100 gifts, 500 gifts, or 1,000 Sparks in a single stream. Goal-based gifting is one of the most effective motivators in live streaming.

Best times to go live: Evenings (7 PM–11 PM) in your local time zone see the highest viewer counts. Fridays and Saturdays consistently outperform weekdays for new viewers and gift activity.
Stream length sweet spots: Shorter focused streams (30–45 min) work well for reviews and quick sessions. Longer casual streams (90 min+) build deeper community bonds and generate more total gift opportunities. Avoid going under 20 minutes — it takes time for the algorithm to surface your stream to new viewers.
Content ideas that perform on TokeHead:
Creators are held to the same standards as all members, plus additional responsibilities as public figures on the platform. Full details are in our Community Guidelines — here are the critical points every creator must know:
- ✗No illegal sales. Advertising, selling, or arranging the sale of cannabis or any controlled substance through TokeHead is a permanent ban offense, regardless of local laws. Content can celebrate cannabis culture; it cannot facilitate transactions.
- ✗No minors in content. Do not include anyone under 18 in your streams or posts, even if they are not participating in cannabis consumption. This applies to backgrounds, cameos, and any incidental appearances.
- ✗No fake engagement. Purchasing followers, views, or gifts from third-party services is a permanent ban offense. Your creator earnings are based on real engagement, and fake activity undermines the entire community.
- ✓Consumption content is welcome. Smoking, vaping, dabbing, and edibles content is fully supported — this is a cannabis platform. Post freely within the above boundaries.
- ✓Commercial content is allowed. Sponsored posts, brand partnerships, and paid promotions are permitted with disclosure. Tag sponsored content appropriately in your post settings.
Violations can result in content removal, suspension, forfeiture of your creator balance, or permanent ban. Protecting your account means protecting your earnings. When in doubt, review the full Community Guidelines.
